Orange Data Privacy Policy

Protecting our customers' privacy is an important priority at Orange and we are committed to maintaining strong and meaningful privacy protections. The privacy of your information is a significant responsibility and we value the trust you place in us. Our Privacy Policy is designed to inform you about how we collect, use, disclose, transfer, and store your information.

  • What personal information we collect

We collect information when you communicate with us and when you use our products, services and sites. This includes information you provide such as registered name, IP address, browser type, language used, websites and visited date and time, driver's characteristics. Service usage information we collect includes transaction records, wireless location, application and feature usage, the amount of mobile and wifi data you consume, product and device-specific information and identifiers, service options you choose, clicked-on, mobile and device numbers, purchased data, emergency data debit, transferred data and recipient's mobile number, share data members's mobile number, sponsor who reward you data, and other similar information.

When you register on app, we may collect information about your user identification, password and secret questions and answers. We use this information to authenticate you when you sign in.

  • How we use your personal information

We use this information to establish, monitor and maintain your account and billing records; measure credit and payment risk; provide account-related services; deliver and maintain your products and services; help you with service-related issues or questions; manage and protect our networks, services and users from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful uses; help us improve our services and research and develop new products and services; authenticate you; determine your eligibility for new products and services and contact you with marketing offers.

Orange Data will not provide, sell, rent, share or trade your personal information to any unrelated third party unless have received your permission in advance, or the third party and Orange Data (including Orange Company), either individually or together provide you service, And when service terminate, it will be prohibited from accessing all of the information that it has previously been able to access.

Orange Data also does not allow any third party to collect, edit, sell or distribute your personal information in any way. Any Orange Data platform user who is engaged in the above event, once discovered, Orange has the right to immediately terminate the service agreement with the user.

For the purpose of serving the user, Orange Data may use your personal information to provide you with information of interest, including but not limited to sending you product and service information, or sharing information with Orange partners so that they may send you information about you its products and services (the latter need your prior consent).

  • Disclosure to Third Parties

Other than as permitted under this Privacy Policy or as otherwise consented to by you, we will not transfer your Personal Information to any other third parties for their processing for any purposes.

We may disclose information that individually identifies our customers or identifies customer devices in certain circumstances, such as:
a) a) to comply with valid legal process including subpoenas, court orders or search warrants, and as otherwise authorized by law; in cases involving danger of death or serious physical injury to any person or other emergencies;

b) to protect against fraudulent, malicious, abusive, unauthorized or unlawful use of or subscription

c) to our products and services and to protect our network, services, devices and users from such use;

d) to advance or defend against complaints or legal claims in court, administrative proceedings and elsewhere;

e) to credit bureaus or collection agencies to determine credit risk, for reporting purposes or to obtain payment for Orange-billed products and services;

f) to a third-party that you have authorized to verify your account information;

g) to outside auditors and regulators; or with your consent.

When you purchase services offered jointly by Orange and one of our partners, customer information may be received by both Orange and our partner that is providing your service. For these jointly offered services, you should also review the partner company's privacy policy which may include practices that are different from the practices described here.

  • Cookies and Other Technologies

Orange Data may use "cookies" and other technologies such as web tags. These technologies help us better understand user behavior, tell us which parts of our websites people have visited, and facilitate and measure the effectiveness of advertisements and web searches. We treat information collected by cookies and other technologies as non-personal information. However, to the extent that Internet Protocol (IP) addresses or similar identifiers are considered personal information, we also treat these identifiers as personal information. Similarly, to the extent that non-personal information is combined with personal information, we treat the combined information as personal information for the purposes of this Privacy Policy.
Orange Data will set or access cookies on your phone so that you can login or use Orange Data platform services or features that rely on cookies. Orange Data uses cookies to provide you with a more comprehensive and personalized service, including promotions.

  • Protection of Personal Information

We use a variety of security technologies and procedures for the purpose of preventing loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure of Information.
In our service, we will use encryption technology (such as SSL) to protect certain sensitive Information (such as location data) provided by you to us. Please be aware that despite our efforts, no data security measures can guarantee 100% security at all times. Our systems and the communications networks through which you access our services may be subject to security breaches and failures which are due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.   • Changes and Updates
